Designed on the base of John's testimony on the moment when Jesus, on Calvary, introduces the Virgin Mary as the Mother of the Humanity; the sculpture represents Jesus' Hands offering us Mary's Heart. "Here is your Son"; "Here is your Mother" (John 19, 26-27).
Symbol of unconditional love, Mary's Heart reflects the image of each of us, pilgrims on the path of life that leads to God. Echoing the Message of Fatima, the soft sheen of this item reflects the gentleness of the maternal heart that, in the expression of the gilded thorns, sublimates the pain which, in the flames raising towards Heaven, calls for the consecration to the Things Above.
